I think our school is in the midst of great change. We have a nice mix of experienced and enthusiastic teachers who are working together to provide for our children's education. I do not know of one single teacher who is not doing his or her best to work with our kids. The attitude of the school is better than it has been in years and we are working towards improving year after year.

I feel that there are a lot of quality teachers working hard with our students, but many other have given up either out of frustration or apathy. We as parents want our kids to have every opportunity available, even if we are a rural district. I feel the leadership needs to be strengthened and the bar needs to be raised. I want more homework assignments and higher expectations. I want to feel more like I as a parent am wanted in my children's educational processes. I want education to come first. I also feel that social expectations need to be raised. MV is preparing our future work force and community leaders, let's expect better behavior, more responsibility, elimination of bullying. Let's work together to build a school we are proud of.
