I recently graduated from Western Beaver High and would recommend my alma mater to any parents searching for a great school district. I was never pressured with drugs or violence and i feel growing up in western beaver made me the role model i feel i am today. GO Beavers!

My children have graduated from Western Beaver within the last few years and have been accepted and attend universities with rigorous programs. They learned more than just the academics from the staff at Western Beaver. They learned to take pride in their work, reach for higher goals, and were challenged to go beyond the basics. Even though the offering of AP and other higher level courses was limited due to size of the school, my children obviously received an education which prepared them for success in higher education and the job market.

Western Beaver High School is all around average. If you're looking for a school that has excellent academics and extracurricular activities keep looking, however, for it's size the school is decent. It does not offer any courses in SAT prep. If you're moving to get your children into a good district, skip over this one. If you fall in love with a house within the district, it will probably be adequate. All school buildings are having ceiling tiles replaced and new lighting put in. Lockers and gymnasium are both relatively new.(Within 3 years) Some test scores are below the state average. Overall, there are far better schools within 20 minutes of this district.
