Since moved to this area in 2007, I had a kid in elementary school and two in middle school. Now I have two in High School and the quality progressed as they move from Elementary to Middle and now High School. Great Schools. I did some research before I decided to buy a house in Landenberg, the property taxes and houses are cheaper than the district close to Kennett. I bought the house that the same one in that district would have been 25% more and the taxes the same. The difference in cost doesn't justify to pay more. KHS facilities are new and nice, I don't see trailers as much as the other district. The teachers are tough and good, they have lots of AP, Honor and electives, and they will offer engineering classes as well.

For a small high school, it offers an extraordinary range of courses taught at a variety of levels. There are quite a few teachers with outstanding dedication. The school administration is flexible about student placement and bends over backwards to accommodate requests. Academics are strong, some sports are weak but there are many activities and music is especially good. Exceeded my expectations.
