My niece is experiencing school for the first time and so far every day has been a great learning experience for her. Children should be excited to go to school and I am glad she is having a chance to be excited about learning!

My Daughter loves going to school here. The teacher parent communication is outstanding. The principal is not strict. She begins the day by saying 'Be the best person you can be.' We were told reading is a top priority at the beginning of the year and they were right. My daughter would rather read than watch television.

Excellent teachers! My kids have loved every teacher they have had so far. They are great at meeting the needs of each child no matter what the ability. Many of the teachers have been here a long time so that tells me they are happy with their job and it shows! I respect the principal a great deal for how she runs the school but I have to agree that she is too stern with the children as well as the parents. They do fear her a little too much. She supports a lot of parent involvement in the different programs and activities which is great. Academically challenging and great extracurricular activities!

We've been involved in 3 elementary schools in the Hempfield School District. This school has good, caring teachers. I feel the principal is rather strict, though, and my children feared her. The reading support team is excellent!
