I have to wonder about a negative parent review in which the writer spells horrible as 'horrable,' there as 'ther' and were as 'where.' Maybe the writer needs to go back to school, too. Both my children attend LMS and we are happy with their education and the way they have been treated. Yes, there are problems, but students who behave and apply themselves can and do succeed.

The Lebanon Middle School staff work very diligently to help every student achieve success. The faculty really is a team.

Both of my kids are Honors Students and I am proud of them for what they accomplished 'in spite of' the environment to which they are exposed. The faculty work hard as they can. My kids say they see fights every single day in the hallways & there lockers have been broken into (during classes) several times. Where is the security? Keep working hard staff...you have my prayers! - A Sad Parent

Our kids are gifted and we find this district is very flexible. Radical subject acceleration is common here. It is not a wealthy district, there is also a large portion of the population that is transient. Test scores reflect the realities of poverty.
