Both of my children attended this school from K5 through 5th grade. I felt they obtained a truly 'global' education, as the population included children from different economic levels, various ethnic backgrounds and many social classes. The teachers work hard to provide all students the tools they need to be successful and put in many additional hours for the good of the school community. The actual physical facility is probably the best in the county for an elementary school - I wish I could have attended here! Both my children have kept close ties with classmates through the years and graduated in the top 1% of their classes... I don't know the new principal, who would be key in maintaining this terrific learning environment, but would just like to say, keep up the good work!

The people at this school seemed to be wonderful when my kids transferred in. I couldn't have asked for a better transition for them!

I think the red light slips let the children know when they did someething wrong instead of lecturing to them, which when spoken too most kids dont understand at a young age anyway, and with a new principle coming in this year it may change. But, I think it is a good idea that way our children know and the parents can try and explain to them. Most of the teachers at Ebenezer are great teachers it is hard to pick out just one. I wish the new principal the best this year.

We feel that the system for 'writing' the students up for bad behaviors or incidents is a little demeaning with their system of red light slips. It can be frustrating trying to resolve problems with the principal and some of the teachers and if you need help from the guidance counselor, best of luck because 'they have other students to worry about'. The positive is that there are some exceptional teachers in this school, Mr. Gardner for one who is patient and kind with the kids. Overall it is a good school district but they need to work on other areas like improving the school discipline system.
