By far the best school in Carbon County. Not only the largest school district in the financial hub of the County, but is also the safest. No city or gang influx like neighboring Jim Thorpe. Most AP courses and most extra cirricular activites. Would need to travel south to Parkland to find better school.

Great academic program, many sports, clubs and activities. Teachers great and concerned. I would recommend it above most schools .

I really have no complaints with any of the schools in the district that I have dealt with. I an very pleased with what they have done with my children.

Overall Lehigton is a good, wholsome place to recieve an education. trutfully speaking though, the school is very flawed. more money is pumped into sports than books.

Much like the town, this school relies heavily on small town justice. Those that are in are in, and others are treated with no respect. The Jim Thorpe school district is a much better school, and is just a few miles down the road. Definately would not recommend this school or town to anyone.

I am a graduate of LAHS class of 1975. At that time the teaching was fantastic and you had the opportunity to be involved in so many sports, clubs, and activities. I was in the band, bowling club, FBLA club, worked in the library and Miss Zeigler was the best Librarian ever. The library has so much to offer in regards to knowledge and good reading books. I know things change over the years, but as I look back on them, I would not have changed a thing. Thanks to the teachers I have a life. Mr. Ray Koons gave us so much to think about that to this very day, I remember saying he said to encourage us when the stakes are down. Thanks LAHS teachers!
