I love this school. I attended the school when I was a kid. My oldest son graduated from 6th grade in 2008 and my eight year old son is going to 3rd grade this year. I also have a 5yr-old daughter who will be entering kindergarden this year. I love all the staff at John Fitch. I will especially miss Mrs. Sweeny who was the secretary when I was at Fitch back in the 80's. Keep up the good work!
I am the parent of a now 3rd grader. He went to Fitch for kindergarten and 1st grade. He was then transffered to another school because of the redistricting. He spent 2nd grade at this new school and I was not satisfied at all with this new school. It dose not hold a candle to the teaches or the academic curriculum of John Fitch. The staff at John Fitch was spectacular and it's a shame that my son can no longer benefit from it.
John Fitch Elem. School is a great place to be. I am a partent of a second grader and they are moving us to another district. I do not want to leave. The teachers and facility really care about the kids. They know their names and the kids have respect for them.
