The majority of the students are being left behind at this school. The teachers just don't seem to put forth the effort needed for a successful school. A true teacher inspires.

As a former student at Indian Valley High School, I agree with the first review in that the school is run based on the 'popularity factor'. If you are not a 'social-ite', an athlete, or otherwise well-off, you will be virtually ignored here. The teachers, particularly Mrs. Curry, are top-flight teachers who should really be teaching at the college level. However, the attention is usually diverted to those who are gifted academically, with a very small interest in helping and guiding those who do not learn as fast. Their Technology Education department, which is the most important department in a school, is not helped at ALL by the school district. In the Mifflin County School District, sports are first, academics are a VERY DISTANT second. Trust me, as a 2008 grad and current college student, I am very critical of how IV and MCSD is operating. Attend at your own risk.
