This school has a great average SAT score, but remember that they recruit girls headed to American colleges from Asia for a "finishing year" and this inflates their scores. Teaching is lacklustre. Teachers are not responsive to parental concerns. The headmaster has no education credentials and does not relate at all well to girls or parents.

An amazing school. Tops in academics, value, amazing teachers, and college placement. I highly recommend this school to anyone with a teenage daughter.

Learning for life has always been at the heart of education at Linden Hall. The number of todays students I see scurrying to their riding lessons at the Kaitlyn Haughey Stables or the AB Sweigart Gymnasiums amazes me. Every week day after classes, a hush descends on Honeycutt, the main student lounge. During each school term, many community and campus service projects are offered, which helps the girls achieve their goal of earning 200 miles per school year, 35 community service hours, and 16 Life Long Learning Points. The PDP (Personal Development Point) system at LH is great, it really helps gear the girls in the right direction. After only two trimesters here at LH, I can really say that I feel like I am being molded into a college student.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
