I disagree with the parent who claims Burrell's math program lags behind other districts. My son has scored in the advanced level on the PSSA's every year in math and if you look at the whole district's PSSA math scores they are very high. My son also is in an after math program that is for kids who enjoy math. There were so many kids who wanted to be in this program that they had to limit it to the 1st 25 who signed up. The middle school and high school also have high level math classes available. That parent may not be happy here but they are misinformed about what the district offers.

Top notch school. The renovations made last year are amazing. Great teachers - very challenging courses - tons of activities, sports, and clubs - engineering classes - terrific technology. Very impressive state of the art facility.

Excellent school, very challenging, new 'green' building, latest technology, great leadership, excellent teachers, small class size, many extra-cirricular activities.

I have been at this school for only 6 months and I already love it...the teachers, students, and staff are all very kind and understanding and the teachers are all very good at their proffesion...if I don't understand something the first time they say it,they explain it to me in a more detailed manner and spend as much time as possible trying to help me understand the concept.Above all they have wonderful lunches not like some schools that serve icky foods that they just call 'lunch'.This school is amazing take it from a student with the knowledge of going to this school...this school is awesome!

The school needs more activities. this would help keep kids out of trouble. At this age parents have to pay for every thing their child does. There are no sports, no drama, no cheerleaders,ect...This is something to thing about.
