Having chosen this school from among the several public and private schools in the Montour area, I have to say that I cannot be happier with our choice. The Principal (new since the 3/13/06 posting) is very involved with the curriculum and day-to-day activities. The teachers take an active interest in the kids' growth academically and spiritually. The activities that are offered are numerous and first-rate. We couldn't be happier!

Hts offers a wonderful christian faith based academic program as well as music, art and sports and many other extracurricular activities. The level of parent involvement is very high. The teachers are great educators and are very caring individuals. We are very happy with hts and look forward to many wonderful years ahead.

The elementary education my child received at this school was exceptional. But I am sorry to report that grades 6-8 lack the moral standards that are required in a Christian School. The school says they have a no bullying policy, but bullying at this school is tolorated and ignored by the administration, but I have to say that the teachers try to do what they can, but they are not backed up by the administration of this school. In short, this school is great from Preschool to 5th grade. After that, look for another school for your child. The golden rule of do unto others does not apply to the middle school.
