McKeesport has great academic programs for the gifted student. Advanced classes allow advanced students the ability to learn college level material in high school.

Mckeesport has great programs as long as you take advantage of them. Parent involvement depends on the organization, but can be very good. Its extracurriculars are very diverse, but heavy on the sports side.

As a parent of 3 MAHS students I am very happy with the education quality they have received. I will say that it is very frustrating to me that the high school gets such a bad rap especially at sport events. I attend these events often and our students always carry themselves with class and dignity! Thank you.
