I am surprised to read the comment below. Must be a parent whose child did not get an A in everything. My children two youngest children loved the experience and the changes made by the new adminstrator. My older son went through the middle school when the focus was drill and kill. Over the past few years the middle school has added additional courses for middle schoolers to take including guitar, journalism, music history, math problem solving, creative writing, reader's theater, and world languages just to name a few. They even started a homework club that still runs two days a week. These are courses my oldest never got to take and hardly seem like 'teaching to the test.' As for dress code... I have been called to the school several times because my daughter reported to school with a skirt that was too short.
