My family and I absolutely love Ramsey! My eldest graduated from Ramsey eight years ago, and my son just started kindergarten. The past two-and-a-half months with Mr. Siegwarth, a wonderful teacher and gentleman, have been a blast for him He also adores Mrs. Beveridge, who always welcomes every child with a smile on her face. Besides the teaching staff, the PTO at Ramsey is also very strong and makes the parents feel very involved. My family and I are very sorry to be moving and want to wish the best for every one who has made and continues to make Ramsey such a beautiful and safe place.

My daughter is in her final year at Ramsey. Our experience with this school has been very positive. My daughter has done very well academically. (Her PSSA scores ranked in the 95th percentile in math and reading. This seems to define good schools these days) She participates in various additional activities including orchestra, chorus, spelling bee. The teachers in this school have been very caring, challenging, available, attentive, and motivating. My daughter loves school and I look forward to her advancement through this wonderful district. Great job Ramsey elementary!

the experience at Ramsey was very disappointing. the most recent principal did not like to be bothered by parents. the teachers range from very good to poor- so it's all in what teacher your child is lucky enough to get. If you get stuck with a poor one, well too bad. there is no standardized curriculum even within one grade level. it's like the 1950's still, teaching outdated material mostly by worksheets. also the kindergarten is 1/2 day in the district and the enrichment program is a joke. I can't see how this district has a good reputation.

Ramsey is a fantastic school within the Gateway School District. The teachers are top notch and provide an education that challenge student abilities on all levels. Ramsey offers an array of learning resources and programs. The disticts best kept secret is the diverse learning environment, as students come together from various cultural backgrounds. Ramsey offers a superior academic education but also a lesson in diversity and exposure to various cultures seen in real life. The PTO is a strong presence in the school and assists with various yearly programs and volunteer services. Students are exposed to art and music at Ramsey and are able to pursue playing an instrument in fourth grade. This is an excellent school with much to offer its students.
