J H Brooks School

I have tried to submit review for this school before, but they keep disappearing... If your child is behind at all, get ready to pay $40 an hour for tutoring. With a 26:1 ratio in most classrooms, it is hard for teachers to provide any individual attention.

this school is the best school you can ever go to... It could a little different in the begining but then you get used to and you'll have a lot of fun...And there its so amasing how you can learn and have fun there.

Every aspect of the educational process is exercised by the great staff and leadership of JH Brooks. The students there have a variety of activities that encourage growth academically, socially,and artistically. Parent participation is welcomed and encouraged which adds to the overall environment of family; which helps promote academic excellence in each student.

My children went through Brooks Elementary. They received an excellent education with teachers who were wonderful & caring. My children were well-prepared for high school and college. I felt that they received a strong foundation at Brooks.

I have spent a continuous eight years at this school. My children have a range of abilities giving a unique perspective. To the higher achieving, much attention is given and many programs support them with recognition and challenges. To those who need help, much work needs to be done. The school tries new programs but should focus more on scientifically proven methods to achieve appropriate results. They have implimented a readiness test for kindergarten which is effective. Parents are quite involved in this school.
