Eleanor Roosevelt is an extra-ordinary school community. I had two daughters attend K-5, and both had a great experience. Strong teaching team. Excellent staff and extra opportunities in non-core areas such as art, music, physed. Very active parent-teacher organization, with excellent relationships to teachers and staff, and driving a number of excellent school services and activities. Both my kids had mild LD/developmental issues -- different issues with different skills at different age -- both handled with attentiveness and sensitivity. I felt like the teachers were my childs' advocates. Had several teachers who actively invited parents into the classroom to see what was going on. It was a great experience and my kids really felt like they belonged to the community. They both return from middle school to visit their teachers and tell about what they've learned since.
I LOVE Eleanor Roosevelt! My daughter is in first grade and is excited to go to school; thank you, Mrs. Hawk, for teaching my daughter, not only the fundamentals, but to enjoy school.
It has been an excellent start for my 2 children who attend! the principal is fantastic and devoted to the children, each teacher my children has shown the same devotion to the individual needs of the children. the programs that are run are fun, social, and enriching. My children are challenged when needed and helped when needed, i couldnt be happier!!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Eleanor Roosevelt. The teachers, staff and administration are all wonderful. My third child is set to begin ER, I am confident that all of my children will recieve a great education againg this year.
ER is a great school. my youngest daughter leaves for pennwood thid year and she is sad toleave ER. our experience as a family was awesome and we will miss the staff and principal at Roosevelt. a great chioce for elementary education.
I homeschooled for a few years and when we knew it was time to put our children into public school we were nervous. But we heard so many great things about E.R. that we enrolled them. It was the best thing we did. Every teacher so far has been exceptional, talented and creative. They were and are in tune with my children, their learning styles and needs, and seek to help them keep and develop their love for learning. Many have said and I belive it is true that E.R. is the best kept secret in Pennsbury! You will love it!
My 5th grader has been at Eleanor Roosevelt since Kindergarten. The fact that she scored in the top 2% of the country in standardized testing speaks volumes of how dedicated and excellent the teachers are at Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School. Thank you
This school is a great school. In beautiful Bucks County, the teachers and support staff are the best there is to offer! Classrooms are nice in size and there is a lavatory in every room.
I was sad to see the best and most kindhearted teacher (Mrs Beede) retire a few years ago. She really took time out to educate and motivate her students. Unfortunately I cannot say the same thing for many of the other teachers in E.R.
