Although the school overall is decent I am disappointed in staff. Woman at the sign in table regularly is rude, cranky, and mean. My son was recommended for gifted testing in October, it is April and his testing is still not done. After weeks of trying to find out the status I was told it would be another 4 weeks. School is out in about that time. His teacher is good and overall he is happy but I am disappointed that staff drag their feet and don't respond to calls. Also the children are not allowed to drink water at lunch unless they pay for it. My son ended up at the doctors for dehydration, I didn't know they don't have access to water during the day.

This school is very good with children. They are always ready for new changes every year. Even the teachers have fun teaching these students. These kids come home saying that this school has brilliant teachers who always know what to say. The teachers always try to make every student succeed in what will come to them in the future.

School isn't hard enough on students. They very rarely bring home any homework. They don't challenge them enough and teach to the lowest common denominator. My daughter is gifted and every year I'm amazed at how little they teach her. Thank god I'm an active parent and take it upon myself to teach her more at home. It's ridiculous how little they teach these kids. There's more to an education than testing well on the pssa's. Stop teaching the kids just so they do well on that test and start really helping them learn. The point of those tests is to see how well the students are learning, not how well you prepared them for that test. By the way, there's more to life than football. How about we buy some new books instead of turf for the stadium!

Way too hard on kids. What they are expected to know by first grade is ridic. Wanted to hold back my 6yr old, moved to a new school and she is doing wonderful in first grade!
