Please be careful when you inquire or send a child to Janus. They are only equipped to deal with children who have dyslexia, not children with autism spectrum disorders. Please inquire about about the teacher's certifications for dealing with autism.

This is one of the best schools I have ever encountered for my child who has learning differences. The gains he made in a few short months (reading at a second grade level and now reading and comprehending at an early seventh grade level) were and continue to be phenomenal. The school lives its mission through its faculty, staff and student body. One of a kind!

This is an excellent school - student centered - excellent new leadership. The faculty offer the best there is in the form of an educational program for students with learning differences. The school includes the family in the student's learning process. I enhusiastically recommend the school without any reservation.

The focus is on core academics provided in blocks, with few, if any, secondary specials offered or support services from the local IU.

The Janus School is wounderful school for LD students. There not just a school there a support group and there like a second family. There is no free rides at Janus you have to work for what you get but in the end you the get greatest gift the gift to learn. About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
