We have two students at Mt. Carmel, with a third one to begin in a few years. We absolutely love the school. The teachers are wonderful, loving, and well-qualified. We sincerely appreciate how the school reinforces the behaviors and attitudes that we are teaching at home with regard to our Christian way of life. The SAT average for Mt. Carmel is above that of all of the public school districts that have students enrolled, and the graduates go on to careers as missionaries, doctors, nurses, and teachers, just to name a few. We have outstanding athletic teams that usually win their conference, but more importantly the students are taught the importance of good sportsmanship, discipline, and honesty. There are competitions in the arts, as well, where our students also do very well. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful alternative to our public school system for our children!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
