They have made many upgrades to KM Smith since I first toured the school 5 yrs ago. The teachers are outstanding caring individuals. At KM Smith the kids come first.

Our elementary school doesn't accomodate children who are ahead of the game. There isn't any program other than handing the child paperwork for a higher grade level while the teacher teaches the other students. They don't offer a foreign language program or any extra-curricular programs at this level. I am glad we are offered cyber schooling!

K. M. Smith was an excellent academic school when I attended. The teachers are very concerned about the welfare of each individual child. It scored high on the best schools list mid 80's- early 90's for academics. My son attends there now and he appreciates the little extras the teachers incorporate into their curriculums to make sure the students are 'getting it'. They also have great Title 1 and speech programs. Parent involvement is excellent!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
