We LOVED Fawn up until recent years. The students are now simply pawns, and the parents simply taxpayers who must be placated and convinced that this school system is worth every penny. It's not! Too much time spent on government funded "extras" and not enough time on the basics...Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. As a result, they are turning out nothing more than functional illiterate students. Our children deserve more than that!

We love Fawn. There is such an atmosphere of learning, caring and respect when you are there. The teachers work hard and the principal is so interactive with kids and teaches them to be respectful and kind. They have common rules for all kids and their Homework Academy offered to the students show they want kids to succeed.

Too many changes have been made in the 2008-2009 school year and the school has become more of an 'institution' where it's run as a business, where $$$ is the focus, instead of our children. Which is more important? Too many kids falling through the cracks and not receiving the services that they need. Unfortunate.

This school is amazing! The teachers are great and the principal is so enthusiastic, loves kids, and is making great changes to make the school community friendly. We love it!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
