we really like this school. the teachers are committed and the principal never fails to impress with new ideas aimed at motivating the students.
Both my kids attended Shafer from kindergarten through fifth grade. The teachers are amazing, caring and very good a what they do. The kids always come first at Shafer. My children are both at Nazareth High School now and each of their classes number one ranked students were Shafer students! I cannot say enough great things about the school, faculty, support staff, and administrators.
We are very pleased with both of our childrens education at the Shafer Elementary School. Our oldest son (5th) grader, transferred from another LV school. It took him a year to catch up but the teachers and school offered excellent support. Our youngest son started at Shafer and is currently a 1st grader. he is thriving in a warm and challenging atmosphere. I cannot say enough and the teaching staff, support and administration. Nazareth School District is rated one of the best in the Lehigh Valley b/c parents are involved as well.
