A big let down. They did absolutely nothing for my child to get him the extra help he needed. Kept stalling me and avoiding meetings. There is now 20 days of school left and finally something is being done. Breaks my heart that my child had to suffer all year. They really need some training on kids who need that little bit of extra help. And on how to have compasion and build children up instead of tearing them down. My child will not be attending this school anymore!!

I had the joy of student teaching at this elementary school. The involvement of the principal was commendable. The energy of the teaching staff was exciting and positive. I feel the students of this school are immersed in a very caring and well-driven learning environment.

Plainfield Elementary is a fantastic school. The principal is personable, approachable, and great with the students. The teachers we have had the pleasure of getting to know have been wonderful.

I feel this school is good for the most part with teachers and parent involvement. I am greatly disappointed though; when it comes to getting special help for your child. I feel that meetings with me were delayed to long. I just feel terrible that I didn't bother earlier those years. Don't be afraid to speak up.

Is a good school, the principal does his best to keep all students in line without being overly harsh. He is a good listener to all students. Some of the teachers are just wonderful with the children, and yet there are a few that need to remember they are teachers and need to be nice, not nasty. Teachers tend to pick and choose who they want to be nice to. A couple of them do not like boys so they are not as nice to them as the girls and visa versa. But overall, the school is pretty descent. My favorite person in that school is a 1st grade teacher who has been there a long long time, her name is Mrs Zavacky, she is so great with all students & has the biggest lovingest heart.
