the teachers and staff at this school are very welcoming and happy to help with anything. no matter how many questions you may have just call or stop by and they with speak with you till you understand and are satisfied. they are very detailed whaen sending home information that must be seen by parents. and very good about sending home little notes on how the child it doing.each staff member makes it a point to know each child personally and there parent or parents. I am very happy with how deeply intrested the teachers and staff are about each childs personal learning abilities. and ways to improve each classrom as a whole and as individuals. when my daughter leaves new derry to go to gradview for 2nd grade I will be nervous and sad but I know that they will provide that same benefits to my child.

I am a faculty member at Penn State University. Prior to my Son starting school 10 years ago, I asked many of the faculty members at the Medical School about sending my Son to a private school. With no exceptions, I was told that the Derry Township School are better then the area private schools. I am very compulsive about my Son's education. He has attended the Derry Township primary school, middle school and high school. I cannot tell you how happy I have been with the schools. The teachers are outstanding, the school administrators are very responsive to the needs of the students, there is very active involvement of the parents in the school, and the facilities are excellent. I could not be happier about the education my Son is receiving. I rate the Derrpy Township schools as outstanding.

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
