I atteneded Valley and I loved it there from the years I went. Many extracurricular activities to choose from. Plus, teachers were very nice.

I think valley high is talented about drama. Recently, i've seen the wizard of oz and also beauty and the beast and they were emotional and great actor. Next they teach them every thing to suceed in life. That is why give Valley four stars.

I have several children currently enrolled at Valley High School. There have been some very positive changes over the past few years. The new administrators are trying to bring back discipline and control. Hopefully, the students will no longer be in charge. There are many new, young teachers who truly care about the students' education. The JROTC program is wonderful and really making a difference in the student's lives. There are many extracurricular activities to choose from. The Guidance Dept. is invisible. They only help a hand full of students - usually those from upper middle class homes who are high honor students - the students who don't really need their help. Overall, Valley isn't such a bad place. Their bad reputation isn't deserved.

Valley is vastly underrated as a high school. If your child is interested in education, this is an excellent place. Great extracurriculars, dedicated teachers, good kids, not nearly the drug abuse found in nearby schools.

Valley Senior High School has a lot to offer. They are a leader in technology, with laptops available for all students and state of the art technolog in the school. Valley is the only school in the state to have an active educational partnership with China, including two Chinese teachers teaching our students. My child is excelling here, in AP and excellerated classes. I'm quite pleased with our school.

valley high school is not a school to send your kid to if you want high test scores. people saying that valley has high test scores is a joke. compared to who? the surrounding schools score much higher then valley. not to mention the drug trafficing in the new kensington area. if ur thinking about enrolling your child in valley school district or moving to new kensington dont. if u want to stay in the area try other schools like burrel

Valley high school is the best kept secret in the Alle-Kiski valley! Yur interesting website does not allow an evaluation of the individuals rating the various schools available on your site. It certainly is a tempting site for students and parents with an axe to grind to voice a very unbalanced opinion! I would hope that prospective teachers and families who may be considering applying to or attending Valley high school would conduct a more responsible search for information than is available from opinion polls. Valley High school is a diverse school, with a challenging curriculum, inspired faculty and presently, a gifted educational leader in the person of the principal. Valley provides the opportunity for all students to reach their potential with the proper investment of time, enthusiam, and hard work on the part of the student and their family.

I used to go to Valley High School, and my younger sister still does. I don't think its's a terrible school however, the authority is. The principal wants to be best friends with all of the male and athletic students. It's honestly somewhat pathetic. Not to mention, the assistant principal talks in ebonics in an attempt to communicate with stundents. Once again, I find this pathetic. However, I have to say, I did like most of the teachers and the school spirit and overall diversity was very refreshing. I'll admit that I loved going to high school at Valley.
