I feel Northwestern is the best school around. My son has learned alot more earlier then i did. I think they have some very wonderful teachers. One's who take their time with each individual student and that i like. My son is getting a fantastic education.

Northwestern is one of the best schools in my opinion. I graduated from Northwestern 20+ years ago and moved away from the area after graduation. When it was my daughter's time to start school. I immediately starting looking for a home to buy in the district so she could go to Northwestern! The curriculum is great, the teachers and staff are caring, and the community is supportive! I wouldn't send my daughter to any other school!

I think that 5th grade is too young to be in middle school, my son has had problems with other kids picking on him on the bus since the beginning of the year. The discipline is also inconsistent. My son used to have A's and B's but his grades are slipping and he is not happy.

My son went from Weisenberg to the Middle school this year. Not only do I love the school district, but more importantly, he loves it as well. The teachers keep him motivated and on task, they prepare him for the real world by establishing organization, social and ethical skills. He is happy, and to me that is the single most important thing to keeping him motivated to learn.

I was not very impressed with the school system. Although I had gone to this school myself, I was not at happy with the teacher/parent communication. My son was always an A/B student who came home every day and did his homework. He turned into one that never had homework & hated going to school. I was concerned that the move from a very different region of the US to New Tripoli would be the cause for this. The teachers thought he was fine and that he was just lazy. After moving back to where we came from, his grades are back to normal and he is happy. We have moved again since then, but we are still in the same region of the US. His grades are still A/B and he is very happy> He is also attending one of the top schools in the country.

my son has ADD-inattentive type, he always hated school, until 5th grade, he made honor roll because two teachers worked with him and his parents. he received extra support, but he should have been in a special ed math group. Compared to the school he is attending in the south, their is no comparison.

Great school, education is above average. The academic programs are great. I like the fact that your child learns home ec in 5th grade. The only thing I'm not thrilled about is that my child is in middle school in 5th grade. Way too soon, when i was a child I was in Elementary school still in 5th grade. Other than that wonderful!

Dr Kelly the principal is great. The curriculum is okay. They are lacking a Spanish program or any language. The school is not set up for 5th graders, though. The buses are also very crowded. The district is not homeschooler or cyber school friendly.

This school is okay I guess, I've seen better schools. They are a bit behind in some things, and I'm not real crazy about some of the teachers.

My son always hated school but he doesn't hate this school. He has a reading disability and is receiving instructional support. Since the beginning of the school year he has brought his grades up, his attitude is better and he's reading much better. He will be transitioning into regular classes soon.
