Goodnoe Elementary School

Goodnoe Elementary School has challenging academic programs like Humanities and Math Enrichment for those who need a challenge. They have excellent teachers, who are some strict, some nice, but all good teachers. Mrs. Maryann Molishus, a second-grade Goodnoe teacher, has been awarded $25,000 for the best educator in Pennsylvania. In the 2008-2009 school year, the mayor and many other special men came to Goodnoe. Goodnoe was awarded best educated school in Pennsylvania. The principal, Mrs. Nicole Crawford, is handling the school's problems very well. The students have made a relationship with the principal, treating her as one of their friends. I bet you wouldn't have thought of this: this review was just written by a Goodnoe student. Goodnoe rocks!

Goodnoe offers many programs for kids. There is a strong parent involvement. The teachers really care and try to make learning fun.

My daughter is very happy with this school. The teachers are more professional compared to the previous school my daughter was enrolled.

This school is housed in a very old building which has maintenance issues, however, the quality of the education there was excellent. My daughter attended kindergarden there 5 years ago and we found a very progressive and comprehensive approach to writing that exceeded what I've seen at other excellent schools in MA and VA. In short, the children performed a considerable amout of reading and writing in their daily homework and lessons which reflected well in the advanced writing abilities I witnessed posted on the walls outside class rooms. The teachers are very well paid and that showed in the quality of the kindergarden teacher. She had worked at the school for many years and was exceptional compared to others I've met since then.
