Elementary East has a poor quality principal which hinders both teacher and parent involvement for the children. Unfortunate as Blue Mountain School District was once the top school in the area. With the exiting of the old superintendent lets hope the new experienced super can clean the messes up.
This school along with all the others in the Blue Mountain School district doesn't care about the students. It's all about politics and getting money (funding) instead of helping students achieve their full potential.
Blue Mountain does a lot of things right. They have an excellent general purpose program, and can adapt it easily to cater to the student's needs.
