I used to go to school here and their teachers are either horrible or great. There are no okays, or alright teachers. The bad teachers go towards favoritism or teach to fast. The great teachers are always eager to help. The bad part is that the good teachers are outnumbered by the bad ones. There's always a place for everyone to fit in, but there's a lot of violence and inappropriate behavior that doesn't get corrected. Bullying and fighting has grown since they can get away with it and no punishment is given. However, it's not as bad as many of the surrounding schools, like the ones in the cities and more populated areas.

I do agree child with special need the teachers do not seem to have time or are not educated enought to deal with adhd or add or just do not want to deal with it. school today are not like they were years ago.If you can not get anywere hire an attorney, because you are wasting your time trying to talk to them.

As a former student, I look back on my experience at palmerton J.H. with nothing but positives. I was challenged, and my teachers cared about me as a person, not just as a student. They instilled an appreciation for learning and the arts and I appreciate it!

This school is in great distress. Everyone is an 'acting employee'. If you have special education needs hire an attorney immediately! And don't believe a word they tell you. If you don't agree with them they will take you to any length to get their way.
