I currently have a child enrolled in Kindergarten at the Valley View Elementary Center and I am so displeased with the way this school is run. They only have one recess for the entire day! In order for children to be even remotely interested in learning they need to be able to run off excess energy. A full day of Kindergarten is too much as it is and to starve those poor children of their playtime is absolutely WRONG! Not only that, this school fails to see the importance of teaching children about healthy choices. They only have gym class 2-3 days out of the entire MONTH! I just could not believe that, especially with the insane amount of obese people in this area! Academically this school is nothing special. My son learned more in his YMCA preschool! I'm looking forward to moving my son to a better school.

I found my sons teacher to be wonderful and left a great impression with my son. I feel that the P.T.A was welcoming or friendly. I think there would be more parent involvement if it wasnt for the P.T.A. Dont get me wrong they have fund raisers for the children to attend field trips which is wonderful. They just need to let the parents be more involved.

Valley View is a great school to send your child to. It has great teachers, and a PTA (Parent Teacher Association) that gets better every year. This is a group of parents and teachers that organize fun events for the children like field trips, play-day, and holiday parties. Children also get an excellent eduacation. They are well trained for the next grade they go in to, but the teachers use a fun way of learning that encourages kids to practice at home

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
