Meade school is not a good school at all the students are out of control and the staff cannot control them. There are fights inside the school 2 to 3 times daily and I am afraid for my children. However since the new Principle has arrived the school is a bit better but I still don't want my children to continue going to that school. Your children will not get a good education in the school there is so much negative going on its hard for children to to focus on positive.

Meade School is a horrible place for kids to learn. The principal does not care about the children. He stays in his office most of the day and does not interact with the students. The receptionists want to be friends with the students and are too informal with them when engaging in conversation. The teachers are passing the the kids along just to have them become a 'problem' for the next teacher. Some of the kids that are in the seventh grade are on third grade reading and math levels. I have seen and heard just how terrible the school is. If you are looking to send your child there please do more research and talk to loving, caring parents that know the value of a great education. Class size, safety, discipline, the educational level of the staff, and curriculum are very important and necessary for a student to succeed.

Meade is doing much better than it looks like here. Class size is very small (20 in 2nd grade for example). Teachers are well trained and supported. Parents are supportive. Children's reading interest and abilities climb yearly. We are doing very well.
