Carnell is not great school. The teachers are overworked . They have so many problem children they ca not properly teach. My son's teacher told me he couldnt read or write. Took him out of the school and put him into GLA charter. They tested him his IQ is 131. The teacher was dead wrong! Thanks GLA Charter.

The teachers at Carnell try very hard to help their kids. The principle definitely needs to step it up and grab control of the things going on in the school. The school has potential, but as long as there is overcrowding it will never be a great school. I have 2 kids that went to carnell and 1 who is currently attending. My other two children go to solis-cohen and they LOVE it. Overall I recommend finding a better school.

The Princpal and Vice Principle think that they are on top of things, but can't even handle the little kids. That school is not organized. There are some great teachers there, but the Administration is horrible. Whenever you want to speak to the principal he never calls back. Children are getting hurt and not receiving an education that is worth while. I am very frustrated with this school. The regional office needs to come to the school and monitor it for about a week. It is more like the children are running the school. The Prinicipal and Vice Principal are only there for the check and not for the children.

My son is now attending Carnell after transferring from a great school district. I was a little skeptical about sending him to Carnell. The principal is not doing a good job in keeping things in line. Overall I think everything is very disorganized from open house night, to traffic and parking at the school. I tried to get involded with the PTA but its a joke. I think some teachers are doing the best they can but its not really helping the school. This school needs an able leader who can get in and set everyone straight.

This school is a chalenge for me as a parent. The teachers are wonderful! They work hard and give as much time, patience and attention as they can. The principal seems useless as well as the office staff. Their attitudes make you want to run away and the principal seems pleasant but again useless. The children curse, fight, steal and are very disrespectful.

When I was a student at Carnell, there weren't many programs and the teachers tried so hard to teach the students, but there was always a distraction. The students were always disrespectful or did not follow the rules.

I'm a student at Laura H. Carnell. I think that Carnell has great teachers that really try hard to teach the kids there. The kids there aren't very nice but I have learned how to live with it. My school has abasoulty not art programs at all. Sports are a little hard to come by and so are other activities.

I think that the lower grade teachers are the best. My child is learning new things everyday. The Kindergarten teachers are the best and give them a solid start to learning
