Fairhill is a good school. It serves grades K-8 and the majority of the teachers and support staff are very dedicated. The administration, on the other hand, is horrible. The principal does not stand by his teachers and staff. The students are a bit of a challenge for most teachers due to misbehavior and disrespect. Fairhill consistently scores well on standardizes tests, meeting AYP (Annual Yearly Progress) for the past few years. But that is a problem...the school is too focused on these tests because scoring well means more funding. This discourages many teachers and students. Overall Fairhill is a good school. It needs vast improvement from the administration and more structure, rigor, and discipline for the students.
