No one helps to guide the children/parents as to which schools kids should apply next. And the sad part is that most of the schools my Little chose will not accept kids from Pratt anyway. Someone should help us understand that process and low rankings
pratt is not a careing school they don't care about the well being of a child and the child's safety. They fail to make parents aware of incidents that occur with thier child, majority of the time the principal Ms. Young and so called head of security Vice Principal Ms. James are unaware of the incidents that take place during regular school hours. It takes for the child to come home and complain to thier parents and thier parents to go up to the school only to find out that no one knew about the incident. If that is what you call a caring enviroment than who wrote the rating stats of this school has very low expectations of how a school should run.
Anna Pratt is a great school with a caring administrator and good teachers, They have made AYP 3 of the last 4 years. The school is safe and very clean. My son loves Pratt.
I believe Pratt has come a long way. I have a son that attends Pratt and he is doing fine with his studies. I love Pratt it is a Great school.
The school needs more discipline and support staff. The gym and music teachers are the best in the city.
My son has been at Pratt since Pre-K and still attends. The school has good intentions but lacks the resources. Overall the teachers care and the students seem to love it.
