I attended St. Laurentius from 1953-1961. It was a great school then. I hope and pray that it remains open.

I attended St. Laurentius from 1953-1961, and it was a great school then. I hope and pray that the school doesn't close, as it will be a real tragedy if it does close!!!!!

Saint Laurentius School is a wonderful, nurturing environment for students. The teachers are some of the best in the area. They truly care about the education of every single student in that building, and do everything it takes to make learning a positive experience. If I were a resident of this community I would send my children to this school without hesitation.

As a graduate of this school, I would say it has given me a solid foundation for not only high school, but life in general.

St. Laurentius is more than a school, its a Community. As a family committed to city living, we searched high and low for a school where our 3 children could learn and learn independence while still feeling comforted and nurtured by teachers and administrative staff. St. Laurentius is as good as it gets! Our eldest child began there this September. From the very first day the teachers and staff knew his name (something I cannot say about the school where he attended kindergarten). Children from St. L's are educated, respectful, and encouraged to excel academically. More importantly, St. L's students are encouraged to become the best people that they can be! St. L's teachers are caring and committed to the students. This is as close to family as it gets!
