My mother graduated from here in 1920,as did her siblings and other relatives. It produced a raft of people from the Irish-Catholic community who went on to illustrious careers in a wide range of fields. It was affectionately known as MBS. This school has been closed since 2008. I attended as a child, and am sorry to see the school close as others have in our city
this school was my life and so was my neighborhood. We lived and breathed family, church and friends.
