Excellent school. My son loves it! He has learned so much in only few weeks. The entire team is just so professional that I have not words. Each child is different and unique, the teachers confidently learns each student needs and guide them in the right direction. The thinking process is stimulated and creativity is #1. Overall we are confident that made the best choice for our son.

My child has thrived at The Philadelphia School. It is a truly progressive education with outdoor classroom opportunities in the city. The teachers are so dedicated to providing the best for my child.

This is a fantastic school. 'Extracurricular' activities are part of the regular school day for all students. In addition to academic skills, students also learn critical thinking skills.

Great school in a great location. Professional staff and well structured classrooms. Children are recruited to academicall well known high schools and colleges. Would definitely suggest visiting the school and taking a tour.

While my children love the school, they are not challenged by the curriculum. The staff and administration are inflexible when dealing with gifted students, and resistant to criticism and change. The extracurricular activities are great, but for $15K per year we expect our children to be learning in the classroom.

private, small (ratio 8 to 1) alternative school part of NAIC. There is such a love of learning. My son wants to go to school everyday. There are so many opportunities for hands-on learning and theme based projects. Home-work is a minimum. The school starts in pre-k and runs through 8th grade. After school music, chess, sports...check out TPschool.org

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
