I am very happy with this school. My kids have been to almost every school in Roxborough starting with Shawmont. Shawmont was good and Holy Child was great. We had problems at Dobson with a principal who is no longer there but it's a public school which can't do much with disruptive kids except move them around. Holy Child was awesome but there was no emphasis on CYO activities or Home and School. Many reviews on here have criticized the "clicks" at IHM but those "clicks" get the job done. They keep tuition lower than Holy Child and volunteer for events that Holy Child never had and aren't even available in public schools.

IHM is a great school with a wonderful staff, great group of kids and strong home and school. They are making every stride necessary to ensure that teh IHM education is top notch and that every family is part of the process and the community. I would not trade IHM for any other school.

I love the community and my children are getting a great education, the Wilson reading method has my kidnergartener reading and my third grader loves her teacher and is learning so much!

Okay so i'm a student at IHM and i hate it. Our teachers play favorites all the time and we use our fundings for unnessacary things. I think we should buy new library books instead of changing the colors of the walls.

My daughter attends school at IHM and she gets a first rate education, however, as everyone else has stated, I too feel it is very clicky. The children of the mothers who don't work, seem to catch all the breaks. The Moms that are able to be at every event and volunteer for everything , obviously run everything and make it difficult for anyone on the 'outside' to fit in. I'm grateful for those mothers who are able to volunteer but children of mothers who have to work full time should not be penilized.

I feel that IHM is clicky, however I feel that they ALWAYS find fun, inexpensive ways to keep the kids happy and interested in school, which to me is my 1st priority. My son goes to IHM and loves it, gets a excellent education, and I just don't get involved in what goes on between the clicks.

IHM is an extremly bad school. It's full of clicks and racists. It's not ethnically mixed, nor does it want to be.
