Immanuel Lutheran School is a great school. My son has attended Immanuel Lutheran since pre-school, he is now in 3rd grade. They provide a quality education, challenging academics, small classroom size, diverse student population, excellent teachers, strong foundation in Christian faith and they have a great after school program. I highly recommend Immanuel Lutheran School.
We transferred our daughter to this school in third grade after a disappointing experience in another private school. We are so impressed by the academic program of this school. It is rigorous and supportive. The third and fourth grade teachers are absolutely amazing! Our daughter now in fourth grade is thriving, loves school, and has excelled in so many areas. If you are looking for a small, private, affordable Christian school, you would do well to consider Immanuel.
My child hasbeen enrolled here for 3 yrs. The 1st year(4th grade) experience was great. However, the middle school experience is very disappointing. We probably won't complete the school year. The children are not getting what they need in the middle school for private school education. Very disappointed.
Both my children attended ILS for 9 years(K-8, before it was Pre-K) and I have to say it was the best place I could have sent them. The teachers and staff take great pride in what they do and I am proud to say my children are graduates. I still have contact with many of the teachers, all of whom told my kids if there was anything they needed them for, they could walk right through those red doors and ask. I feel their education was well-rounded and always felt they were ahead of friends/family members who attended public schools. My daughter has expressed that she plans on sending her children there someday.
I attended this school for 8 years and I loved every minute of it. The principal is the nicest man you will ever meet and the teachers care so much about our education. The school is always kept clean. The class sizes ae very small and therefore the teachers really get to know the students. I could always go to them for help. Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10, I rate this school a 1,000.
i like this school im going to 8th grade and my 7th grade year was my first year there and they have a great variety of sports and clubs for the students so i think its good. The teachers and aids there are helpful to us with helping and teaching us thats why so many of the kids in the 8th grade going to high school go to good ones.
My child has been attending Immanuel for six years and we have been extremely pleased with the quality of her education. Through conversations with parents of students who attend other private and parochial schools, Immanuel students are studying almost a year ahead. Also, they are well prepared for high school and in most instances are accepted in the high school of their choice. The teaching staff are very supportive and work with each child's strengths and weaknesses. Immanuel's students are from various Christian churches and the school respects each students background. It is a wonderful Christian environment. I would highly recommend Immanuel to parents who are interested in a caring, safe and academic environment for their child.
I have been to this school since the first grade, I am an eighth grader now. This is a small school, think of it as a family; everyone knows each other. ILS has a drama club, cheerleading club, basketball club, softball club, and a knitting club. This is a wonderful school.
I am not a parent, but a current student. This school is great, and has nourished my classmates and I. It is a very caring enviorment, and everyone know your name. I feel that I am loved, and that my needs are recognized and adressed.
My son attended this school last year and will no longer attend. The school is not overcrowded which is a plus, however I didn't feel that he obtained a better education than any public school in th area.
