I have attended this school since I was since I was 4 (Pre-K) and am in 7th grade. This school is small and has a really private community We have small classes and in middle school we do switch classes, but the lockers are in the classrooms and lunch is only 20 mins. Small recess yard, but aftercare and before care are fun to talk to friends and hang out while adults are at work. Overall, this school is okay, but I can't wait to experience public high school.

I can't say enough great things about Immanuel Lutheran School. I am such a happy parent. Like most parents, I live a very busy life. I'm a full time working parent with many things to do and worry about, but one thing I NEVER worry about are my children when I drop them off at school. I have two young children attending Immanuel. Not only do they receive an excellent education, but they are supported in such an organic caring way. The school fosters a very loving environment. All the children from the upper grades to lower grades are very kind to one another. The upper grades always look out for the smaller ones as if they were their own little brothers or sisters. This school comes highly recommended by me, not only for it's excellence in academics, but also for its safe, loving family atmosphere. Great education plus a caring environment equals a GREAT school. I LOVE IMMANUEL LUTHERAN SCHOOL. The school also offer an EXCEPTIONAL before/after care program. P.S. - The school also has a great Parent Teacher Association, however, this school year parental involvment was rather low. Volunteering is so important and doesn't require much time. PLEASE VOLUNTEER!!!

The teachers & staff provide a warm, caring and safe environment where students receive a quality faith-based education. The school has a morning and extended care program. The school does a great job with communicating with parents.

Immanuel Lutheran has been the best school I have ever put my son in. It has wonderful dedicated teachers, who are very active with not only children but parents too. Plenty of activities and events at this school. Small sized classes which is best at each student getting the quality time to produce quality work as students. I can't wait to get my daughter in here.

This is the first year my child has been attending this school. My child loves her teacher, Mrs. Monaghan. Additionally, I am impressed by the quality of the homework assignments given. My child is happy at this school and has learned a lot in a short period of time.

Immanuel Lutheran School is one of the most accepting atmospheres in our area. When the local catholic church refused to baptize my daughter, because she has two moms, my partner and I were concerned as to where our children would receive an excellent education paired with the morals and values that we emphasize at home. Immanuel Lutheran School was very open to us and honestly, didn't think twice when we met them for the first meeting of the interviewing process. My daughter is now in her third year at ILS and is receiving one of the best educations that I could hope for. The fundamentals of education are taught throughly and the lessons are hands on. The classes are small and this emphasizes the need for individual attention and learning. The teachers are there everyday because they clearly want to be there. ILS could use this money for a technology update that is so desperately needed. Please consider this school as great a school as my family did.

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ This school is where I learned the alphabet. Now I'm learning algebra. Over the 9 years I've been here I've recieved great education, with amazing friends I've stayed with throughout. The teachers are good, and prepare you for the next years you'll have, whether it's middle school, high school, college, and life. Lalala I like this school.

Immanuel Lutheran School is a great school. My son has attended Immanuel Lutheran since pre-school, he is now in 3rd grade. They provide a quality education, challenging academics, small classroom size, diverse student population, excellent teachers, strong foundation in Christian faith and they have a great after school program. I highly recommend Immanuel Lutheran School.

We transferred our daughter to this school in third grade after a disappointing experience in another private school. We are so impressed by the academic program of this school. It is rigorous and supportive. The third and fourth grade teachers are absolutely amazing! Our daughter now in fourth grade is thriving, loves school, and has excelled in so many areas. If you are looking for a small, private, affordable Christian school, you would do well to consider Immanuel.

My child hasbeen enrolled here for 3 yrs. The 1st year(4th grade) experience was great. However, the middle school experience is very disappointing. We probably won't complete the school year. The children are not getting what they need in the middle school for private school education. Very disappointed.

Both my children attended ILS for 9 years(K-8, before it was Pre-K) and I have to say it was the best place I could have sent them. The teachers and staff take great pride in what they do and I am proud to say my children are graduates. I still have contact with many of the teachers, all of whom told my kids if there was anything they needed them for, they could walk right through those red doors and ask. I feel their education was well-rounded and always felt they were ahead of friends/family members who attended public schools. My daughter has expressed that she plans on sending her children there someday.

I attended this school for 8 years and I loved every minute of it. The principal is the nicest man you will ever meet and the teachers care so much about our education. The school is always kept clean. The class sizes ae very small and therefore the teachers really get to know the students. I could always go to them for help. Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10, I rate this school a 1,000.

i like this school im going to 8th grade and my 7th grade year was my first year there and they have a great variety of sports and clubs for the students so i think its good. The teachers and aids there are helpful to us with helping and teaching us thats why so many of the kids in the 8th grade going to high school go to good ones.

My child has been attending Immanuel for six years and we have been extremely pleased with the quality of her education. Through conversations with parents of students who attend other private and parochial schools, Immanuel students are studying almost a year ahead. Also, they are well prepared for high school and in most instances are accepted in the high school of their choice. The teaching staff are very supportive and work with each child's strengths and weaknesses. Immanuel's students are from various Christian churches and the school respects each students background. It is a wonderful Christian environment. I would highly recommend Immanuel to parents who are interested in a caring, safe and academic environment for their child.

I have been to this school since the first grade, I am an eighth grader now. This is a small school, think of it as a family; everyone knows each other. ILS has a drama club, cheerleading club, basketball club, softball club, and a knitting club. This is a wonderful school.

I am not a parent, but a current student. This school is great, and has nourished my classmates and I. It is a very caring enviorment, and everyone know your name. I feel that I am loved, and that my needs are recognized and adressed.

My son attended this school last year and will no longer attend. The school is not overcrowded which is a plus, however I didn't feel that he obtained a better education than any public school in th area.

I attended ILS from K-8(b/c it wasn't pre-K until recently) and it was the best school my parents could have sent me to. While most of my teachers are no longer there, the school and current staff are as great as ever. Now as a college grad I look back fondly at the time I spent there. I even visit the school frequently and am still friends with a number of my fellow students. If you want your children to have the best educational experience send them to Immanuel.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
