My Step Daughters' teachers were very understanding and helpful during their parents' divorce.
My children have graduated from the elementary school. The teachers are very 'nice', however,I always felt as though the teachers merely presented a subject to the students and left it up to the parents to do the actual teaching. Every night was consumed with homework. A number of parents had spoken with me and shared my sediments. There are a few that really put forth the time and effort, others seem to just merely be there. Parent involvement with studies seems to be greater than that with after school activities.
Myrtle Avenue Elementary is a wonderful school. They help to get not only the students but the parents get involved in the daily activities. The teachers I personally have encountered, have been the cream of the crop. They are very passionate about the job they do, and truely care about the children. The Staff is wonderful and will do anything to benifit the kids. My family is truely blessed to be a part of such a wonderful school and community!
