I currently go to IMS. It has its good staff and its bad staff when it comes to education. but when it comes to the staff in terms of teaching, they could interact more. some teachers teach different, like one of mine treats us like babies and spends about a month on a chapter. the principal and vice principal pay almost no attention to you, and alot of people suspect that the teachers rig the student council elections for who will win.
This school is below awful when it comes to student teacher interaction. My sister was traumatized by the staff and has never fully recovered. Its a good school for an overachiever, but awful for special needs. If you or your child has special needs.. STAY AWAY!! I would recomend Carson Middle Scool because they have great special needs programs and a great staff.
I went to Ingomar and eventually to high school @ NA. I got a 1st class education and I wouldn't have traded it for anything or any other school, public or private. It wasn't at all perfect, but overall, they did things right @ NA. I always thought they should be a model for other schools to follow.
Im currently a student at ingomar and I love it! the teachers are amazing and so is the school in general! this year is my first year and it is so welcoming!
I have gone to IMS and absolutely love it! Every one there is so supportive and it is truly someplace special. I am now at the high school, and It is a very large district. There are so many advantages to this. We get to take classes almost never offered, have top of the line sports, and I wish everyone could go to such a great school
My child has so many friends, and the NA school district, there is so much biodiversity. As well, my child thinks that the teachers are friendly, and are always there to help!
I have asked for help with my struggling, frustrated son for years and have received minimal, intermittent assistance. More needs to be done for the average student - I'm sick of the excuse that N.A. has so many 'above average' kids. Do we then just let the others fail because they need more help???
Ingomar Middle is a good school if your child is gifted, but for the child who needs extra help it is a terrible pressure cooker. The adminisration and teachers are all about the PSSA scores, and the kids who don't shine are left behind.
