Everyone who has posted here needs to commit to helping WHS become the powerhouse school that it could be. There is a lot of talent at this school that needs to be harnessed and brought to attention. Let's make it happen

School is difficult. Discipline is lacking. New principal seems to have difficulty with management.

I believe Westinghouse helped my daughter in alot of ways in others it didn't. My daughter aintained a high GPA here and graduated salutatorian of her class. She always came home and told me how some of her teachers encourtaged her to do more ad strive for better. It is not always thye school atmosphere that keeps kids from learning it is themselves and I hate when I hear that children don't learn hear. I know they do. I have ason there now and he doesn't focau so he isn't achieving like my daughter who was focused on her work. I like the atmosphere that I seen when I vivted the school. The falculy is nice and helpful. I don't think what happens at Westinghouse is any diffrent than what you will find at other public schools. Truthfully any school at all. Go Bulldogs! WESTIGHOUSE FOREVER!

Me, my sister and my brother went to Westinghouse. It was not a good school. All three of us went back for a school visit and the way the kids acted was just horrible! I just was walking down the hall and I seen kid's cursing, running around and acting just horrible. The teachers were standing around watching them as if they could care less. I know a lot of my daughter's friends that go there now and they always say that the teachers do not challenge them as much as they should. I do not think anyone's child would be safe going to this school because of the way the atmosphere was when I visited. It's almost if your not protected and that is not a good thing. I would not recommend anyone going to this school because it is just horrible and it needs a lot of work!

My child went to westinghouse her jr and sr year. I wish she would have been more prepared for college she had alot of catching up to do. I dont think they did enough to help her get her first foot in the door. I dont remember seeing the principals face unless something happened within the school or something negative happened. This school needs alot of work
