SEA brings out the best in every kid who goes. I am an alum who was at SEA for 11 years. They find your talents and emerge them so that you can be more successful in life. Also, the core values of the school are very important and will never leave your head after you graduate!

Teachers and families are great, but the school is seriously lacking in effective leadership.

SEA is wonderful. Before taking up an offer to join SEA we evaluated almost all of the neighboring schools - Ellis, JCC, Colefax, Menadeo, Shady Side Academy, and more. The best thing about SEA was bonding between students and their teachers. My daughter was once sad that one of her 6 teachers missed the school because she was sick. She is learning a lot and above all becoming a person I really wanted her to be. Way to go SEA!

St. Edmund's Academy is a great school. The six core values stated in the mission statement are used to guide decisions and result in a wonderful environment for the children. My two children have attended SEA since kindergarten and I feel that it has brought out the best in each of them. The curriculum is challenging and the small class size makes it easier for the teacher's to focus on the needs of each child. We have been very pleased.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
