This school is amazing! My child loves it here and gets great individual attention. A friendly, family atmosphere with excellent academics and a great focus on living a strong spitirtual life of charity to others. I have taught here for over a decade and have had many other expereinces at other schools in the Pittsburgh area. Nothing compares to the experience here at PNCS. Your child will get great individual attention and be encouraged to grow up to be a caring and useful citizen.

Three of our kids started at PNCS this year; they all love it and so do I. Having a multi graded class means my third grader can easily do fourth grade math while still working at a slower pace in other subjects. The smaller class size also gives the teachers more freedom to do hands on projects: science experiments every time they have classes, creative writing that leads to published work from day one in first grade, and many opportunities for dramatic productions... The smaller size of the school makes for a kind and nurturing community feel among the students. The older students really look out for the younger kids, and make an effort to make them feel like a part of the school. The older boys are careful of the younger ones at recess.

I've had 4 kids attend PNCS, and it has been a very good experience. Class sizes are small, the academics have been outstanding, and it has a nice community feeling. Many of the students are New Church, but there are students from other Christian denominations, too. My kids have gone on to large public high schools, and have made the transition well and handled the academic load easily.
