As a parent it is important to me that I feel welcomed when I enter a school that my child attends. From the moment I walked into the doors of Imani Christian Academy I could feel the love and presence of God. The students greet you with respect and a smile and the faculty and administration are just awsome. Since coming to Imani my daughter is excited about learning again something she had lost while attending public school. She has that spark in her eyes again and I have Imani and the staff to thank for it. I only wished that I would have enrolled my children in Imani years ago.

Imani has changed my life for the good. This school is great for the spiritual and academic goals. This is the best school I have been at and attend to graduate from here.

I feel that this school does a great job in stimulating the high school students spiritually, but academically I do not feel that they are challenged enough. Since it is a very small school, there are not many extracurricular activities to choose from and though parents are informed about their child's progress, there are not many parent groups. The tuition that is paid yearly, does not reflect on the quality of programs offered and you also have to pay extra for the lunch programs which is disturbing since tuition ranges from $4,000 to 5,000 dollars a year and the majority of the children come from low to middle income families.

As a parent of two students this school has been a Godsend place for me and my children. The teachers are wonderful and show love, respect and concern the each student. I wish the government would allow funding for this and other school like it to be able to offer hope and change for students who have been deemed as failures. God bless Imani.
