Christ Lutheran School

My child entered Christ Lutheran in 4th grade, after having spent his first years at another private school. We changed because of the hours of homework expected of the students at the first school, at a level that was several years ahead of our child's ability. We have found Christ Lutheran to be a wonderful environment--small classes and a "family feeling" throughout. The subjects studied and homework load are much more manageable, yet still challenging enough. There are many ways provided to demonstrate one's learning. Teachers and administrators are caring, and willing to work with each student and their parents to achieve success for the child. I found them most helpful, and willing to discuss whatever needs to be addressed to help the student. As a former educator, I find this to be a very valuable asset. I would highly recommend this school. Wonderful foundation. Very affordable price.

As a former parent of this school, I do not recommend this school under its current administration. Members of their school board, that have a great say in many decisions in the school, have no idea how to teach children. Those who are gifted and those who are low-functioning in their eyes will be out of place in this school. It's great if your child is a middle-of-the-road sort of kid, but otherwise, look elsewhere!

It is a top notch school, with a pastor who pushes for strong education as well as having strong faith. Christ Lutheran has an amazing pre-k and kindergarten that could easily overshadow many higher priced schools.

I have had a wonderful experience with the staff of Christ Lutheran. My son recently graduated form 8th grade after attending since Kindergarten. My daughter still attends and I look forward to my continued contact with the faculty and parents. Both of my children have made strong friendships with good children. As a teen my son has avoided the pitfalls of peer pressure. His friends do not smoke, drink, or do drugs and thankfully will follow him on to high school in the fall. I know with the wonderful foundation he has recieved from Christ Lutheran he will continue to grow into a responsible adult.
