Fairview Elementary exceeds expectations! We joined Fairview this year after several years in the NYC private school circuit. The staff has been warm, welcoming and responsive. There are numerous services and learning opportunities available for both gifted students and those who need a little more hands-on intervention. The most important point is that ALL students are enthusiastic and, regardless of achievement level, the classroom environment is invigorating. As a family, we are extremely pleased with the overall experience.

Both my son and I attended Fairview; it is an excellent school in every respect. Why pay private tuition when your child can attend here?

My children attend Fairview. The staff there is one of the best I've ever come across. They are all caring and concerned about the children and will do anything to make learning fun and exciting for each and every child. The Principal is Dr. Sari McNamara. She is right there in the middle of everything! She is involved and no matter what is going on at the school she is there. My children were in the summer reading program this past summer (2008). It was every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for the month of July, Dr. McNamara was there. The teacher give up their summer break to help these kids. I wish I could take them with me every time my kids go to a new building in the school district. 5 stars for Fairview, all the way!. Just incase you are wondering, the parents at Fairview are great too!

Fairview Elementary School in the Fox Chapel School is by far the best public elementary school I hae been involoved with. From the principal to the faculty to the staff, and parental involvement. It is a family. The education is on par with the surrounding private schools. The kids are actually ahead of the private school kids of the same grade. There are 325 students 16-18/class.
