I think this new elementary school is great. The kids have everything at their finger tips - computers, a great cafeteria and air conditioning for the hot days! I've never had an issue with any teacher or principal. Now, of course you have the normal riff-raff in the district - South Allegheny isn't perfect by any means. If the owners of rental properties would 'up' their standards of who they rent to, alot of those issues would be solved. Over all, the school and district are not bad, the taxes are low and we are very happy with the home and neighborhood we live in - which is Port Vue boro.
